   | Interior detailing can be a massive task! Years of experience and proper training has led to my interior procedure which I explain in depth in Detailing 101. Being a mobile service and providing the most economical solutions for my customers means the use of an extractor is not an option. An extractor simply sprays a hot cleaning solution while vacuuming simultaneously, this is much more effective than just applying a shampoo and scrubbing which usually just pushes dirt from one area to another. My method requires thourough vacuuming,blowing, and revacuuming. Than, using an oxygen based cleaner fabric or carpet is scrubbed. The oxygen based cleaner will seperated dirt, oil, and contaminents from fabric or carpet fibers as it dries and is removed with a final vacuuming when completely dry. This method applies to any fabric or carpet, including headliners, seats, door panels, visors, rear decks, cargo areas, trunks, floor mats, etc. Everything else is scrubbed with an interior cleaner specifically formulated for auto interiors. Plastic and/or vinyl is treated only with a U.V. protectant, no alcohol or silicone dressings are ever applied to interiors. Any chrome, aluminum, painted, or wood grain finishes are treated respectively. Smells and odors are elliminated by an enzyme added to all interior cleaners. Algae and mold is not only removed, but surfaces are also left sterile and free of algae and mold attracting contaminents. Stains are removable in most cases using the above method and in extreme cases a stronger cleaner is used and then re-cleaned, making sure no strong cleaning agents are left on fabrics. |
