Generally I do both the polishing and waxing by hand because there is such little flat area it's not worth the trouble. For scratches and after any color sanding I will use the polisher, but other wise just use an applicator pad. |  |
 | I go over every painted surface with the Ultimate Polish and remove with a microfiber towel. Than, with a clean applicator pad, I apply a thin coating of caranauba wax and leave to dry. Unless I'm using the polisher as I mentioned above, I don't mask off anything. |
